The Jersey Shore has some of the most beautiful beaches you’ll ever see. It’s an excellent destination for beach lovers. You’ll walk along classic boardwalks and visit historic lighthouses. It’s a great educational opportunity as well as a fun vacation. These beaches also offer a variety of activities, including fishing, crabbing, water skiing, surfing, and much more. So let’s get to the beach!
Long Branch

You can get here quite easily by train. People love coming here because the lifeguards are incredibly attentive, the area is clean, and they have a lovely area called Pier Village that is located at the entrance to the beach. You’ll find shops, great places to eat, and plenty of fun activities to enjoy with your kids. If you’re tired at the end of the day, you’ll also have a hotel nearby.
Point Pleasant

This spot is ideal for kids who are new to fishing. The beach is always clean and wide open for fun, and it’s a fantastic place to go body surfing. The boardwalk features rides, games, golf, and an aquarium that children love. You can also find ice cream, delicious snacks, and everything you need to make sure you have the best day.
Monmouth Beach

A local secret, this hidden gem is great for families with younger children. They offer a Beach Club where you can hang out once you’ve purchased the pass (it costs approximately $10), featuring a pool, snack bar, a deck for lunch, and showers for cleaning up.
Asbury Park

This beach town is a bit hipper and more urban in character. There’s music, great food, and teens love the trending food options served here. It makes for great pictures. There is a great Pinball Museum where you can play as much as you want for an hourly fee. You’ll also find great shops along the way, and they have outdoor concerts.
Cape May

A beach with a Victorian feel, you’ll see gingerbread houses along the way, and a cobblestone mall that has ice cream and toys for your kids. The boardwalk also has a great café, and the beach is lovely in the summer. It’s a great place to have fun in the water.
Ocean City

This is one of the best family-friendly beaches. It’s a dry town (no gambling or alcohol anywhere), and the beach is about eight blocks away from free entertainment at night, food, and fun. Two piers offer rides and great food, including pizza and frozen custard—the best dessert for the end of the day after being in the hot sun.
Seaside Heights

This is where the infamous show was filmed, but the area has undergone significant changes since then. It has been rebuilt and transformed into a family-friendly location, featuring a beautiful beach, a family-friendly sky ride, and other activities that kids love. It’s an excellent option for those who want to be in an area that has been rebuilt specifically for fun and incredible experiences.
Avalon And Stone Harbor

This is another gem of the beaches, and there are two here. Avalon has an arcade for kids and homemade ice cream at Springers. If you want to learn a bit about turtles, birds, or take a boat safari, check out the Stone Harbor Wetland’s Institute. It’s a massive hit for families.

This is one of the most popular on the list. The beach is free and it’s enormous. There’s a taxi service to get you to the water, and the boardwalk is massive at almost forty blocks. You’ll find everything from water parks, games, rides, and more. There is also an amusement park with over 100 rides, offering great options for little kids, including a mini coaster.
